Online learning

How the program runs online.

Seminar format, expectations, participation, and logistics.

Delivery model

Online delivery is structured for rigorous discussion, writing feedback, and accountability.

How online learning works

Ethical Futures Institute delivers instruction online in English. The cohort is built for synchronous and asynchronous work: reading, writing, structured exercises, and peer feedback—under the same standards described in How we assess.

Live sessions

Cohorts typically include live seminars or workshops scheduled in published windows. Deadlines for applications and major milestones are stated in America/New_York (Eastern Time) on Admissions; session times for admitted students will be communicated with the cohort so you can plan across time zones.

Asynchronous work

You should expect substantial reading and writing between meetings. Deadlines are real; extensions follow rules published for the cohort, not informal favors.

Tools

We use mainstream web tools (browser-based access, video conferencing as announced). Exact stack is confirmed before the cohort starts so you can test audio, video, and access from your location. If you have restrictions (corporate firewall, accessibility needs), contact support@ethicalfutures.institute early.

Communication

Official course and admissions communication will come from institute addresses we publish. Integrity & conduct rules apply in all channels; see Integrity & use of AI for submissions.

Workload honesty

This is not a passive certificate program. Plan for graduate-style weekly load: reading, drafting, revision, and sometimes collaborative review.
